Location & accessibility

Billbrook is one of Hamburg’s logistics hotspots. The site can be accessed from the A1 and A24 motorways in less than five minutes, the city centre is about 15 minutes away. With slightly less than 1,000 undertakings and about 22,000 employees, Billbrook is the second-largest industrial estate in Hamburg and Northern Germany, second only to the Hamburg port.

Hamburg-Billbrook is the home of a wide range of industrial production facilities, ranging from machine construction to the production of chemicals and plastics and food production. Moreover, there are many forwarding agencies, storage and supply companies, wholesalers, building enterprises and waste treatment and recycling plants.

History

The plot with a total size of approximately 29,000 square metres has about 20,000 square metres of rental area in eight buildings constructed between 1980 and 1990. It is the location of ROFIN-SINAR Laser GmbH, a company of the Coherent Group. ROFIN-SINAR will remain at the site as part of the sale and lease back transaction.

BRIGHT Industrial Investment purchased the area in September 2020.
